Mt. Tamalpais Habitat Restoration & Holiday Wreath Workshop

Saturday, November 19, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Help restore oak woodland and grassland habitat by removing outcompeting Douglas
fir seedlings on Mt. Tamalpais and learn how to use the evergreen branches to make
holiday decorations for your home.

All wreath and decoration supplies will be provided but please bring additional
materials and personal tools if you have them. Be creative and bring in small ornaments,
ribbon, dried flowers or sparkly bits of recycled materials that can be repurposed
for your own unique decorations.

The Habitat Restoration activity will be from 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. followed by
a lunch break (please bring your own lunch; we will provide drinks). The crafting
lesson will be from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m at Sky Oaks Headquarters.

We will meet at the Lagunitas Picnic Area Parking Lot at the end of Sky Oaks Road,
off Bolinas Road in Fairfax. Parking passes will be provided. This event is FREE
but limited to 30 participants, so please reserve a space. The whole family is
welcome!
