25 Years Open
Laura and Glenn Miwa, along with their daughter Erin, opened Comforts' doors 25 years ago, in July 1986, and life in San Anselmo has never been the same. What started out as a little café serving breakfast and lunch and eventually dinner is now the enterprise so many know and love. Famous for their Chinese Chicken Salad (they sell over 500 a day!), Comforts is known countywide for their incredible take-out and dine-in food and fare. The service is top-notch, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and we can only hope for another 25 years of comfort. Congratulations and many thanks Miwa family.
Tune Up Special
Miracle Mile Computer Repair has been in its location at 52 Greenfield Ave. for a little while now, but folks drive past so quickly that they may not know about this great place. Brian Sisneros and Paul Price have known each other since junior high school and, with 20 years of IT experience, they have joined forces and are the folks to take your tired, broken or slow computer to -- especially with the summer special they are having.
For only $50 you can bring your computer in for a tune-up that will include diagnose performance problems, test and verify functionality, virus removal, security setup, disk defragmentation, optimization, unwanted program removal, dust removal, including fans and components, clean the exterior and they’ll recommend the best options.
Red Hill Is Open For Business
Please remember that all of the businesses at Red Hill Shopping Center are open for business in the midst of the improvements. Swirl is coming soon, we promise all you frozen yogurt lovers; Round Table Pizza is still slicing up pizzas; and Easy Street is still slinging hash. Red Hill Holiday Cleaners is still keeping your clothes clean; the bakery is still making amazing cupcakes and pot pies; the Pet Center is still keeping household pets well-fed and taken care of; Precision Cuts is still cutting hair; Burritoville is still wrapping up its Mexican fare; Hot Wok is still hot and Peet’s remains open for business.
Don’t mind the dust, as there really isn’t a whole lot, but do keep in mind all of these and the rest of the Red Hill Shopping Center businesses.
