Fairfax Police: Intoxicated Girl Sprays Dog with Raid, Police Check on Forgetful Woman's Oven

Fairfax Police Logs: Oct. 4-6

 

Monday, Oct. 4

Traffic Complaint: People honk their horns every day outside Willow Apartments between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

Town Code Violation: Numerous trees were being cut on Banchero Way at 1:51 p.m.

Disturbance: An officer was flagged down to report a verbal disturbance at the Parkade at 2:07 p.m. It was determined it was a special needs student with a teacher.

With Subject: A subject was warned for hitchhiking in the road by the Post Office at 3:47 p.m.

Hazard: There was a large water leak at third base at the central ballfield at 4:31 p.m.

Found: A wallet was found at the back steps of the Pavilion.

Suspicious Person: A man was walking back and forth on Sequoia Road at 5:15 p.m. talking on a cell phone and using the phone to take pictures.

Vandalism: A resident's car was vandalized with gold paint outside the Belly Up Liquidators at 7:03 p.m. He believes his daughter was responsible.

Disturbance: Someone was harassing residents on Manor Road at 7:24 p.m.

Outside Assist: The Daly City Police Department had two subjects in custody who were in possession of a check that belonged to residents in Fairfax.

Welfare Check: A resident at the Bennett House was heard stating, "I can't take it anymore" over and over around 7:45 p.m.

Driving Under the Influence: There was a possible DUI driver heading over White's Hill at 11:39 p.m. The car was weaving in the lane and driving very slowly.

Tuesday, Oct. 5

Suspicious Person: Two subjects were loitering in the Mono Lot at 2:44 a.m. An arrest was made.

Citizen Assist: A woman on Willow Avenue was worried she forgot to turn off the stove when she left in the morning. Officers determined the stove had not been left on.

Theft: A bike was stolen at the Creekside Apartments the previous week. It had been locked and was a white and brown Trek.

Theft: A theft took place at White Hill School and a student was caught.

Public Intoxication: A girl was spraying Raid on a dog and on cars at Sherman and Dominga Avenues at 5:58 p.m. She was arrested for public intoxication.

Driving without a License: An officer initiated activity at Bolinas Road and Broadway Avenue at 9:28 p.m.

Assist Outside: A 21-year-old woman was having an asthma attack on Olema Road at 10:13 p.m. and the sheriff's office extended the estimated time of arrival.

Wednesday, Oct. 6

Hazard: One of the small caps in the road at Bolinas Road and Broadway Avenue has been leaking water for several days.

Citizen Assist: Officers assisted with International Walk and Roll to School Day at 8 a.m.

Warrant Criminal: Officers attempted to serve an arrest warrant, but were unable to locate the person on Bolinas Road at 12:15 p.m.

Barking Dog: A dog on Lansdale Avenue was barking on and off for two hours.

Found Property: Keys were found at Peri Park at 4:15 p.m.

Theft: A woman's belongings were stolen from the locker room of the Fairfax Gym at 7:06 p.m., including a phone, wallet and money.

Suspicious Circumstances: A resident came into the station to report that around 9:20 p.m. she saw a couple sitting across from the Fairfax Theater having an unusual conversation and at one point the man grabbed the woman.
