Growing Greenfield, Goodwill's Boutique and More

"Wearing something made by Lea is like wearing whispers..." Plus, an opportunity to put in your two cents from Town Council member Kay Coleman

Greenfield Avenue: Greenfield Ave. has really brought its A game to the retail world of San Anselmo.

From to the the buildings are filling in left and right.  Now 14 Greenfield will take on a new life in the back with moving around the corner from Sir Francis Drake Boulevard.

Lea is the designer of the most beautiful ready to wear and custom made clothes and gowns.  Wearing something made by Lea is like wearing whispers.  The best part is she is having a huge sale and things are marked down 40-70% off, which is an absolute steal, so head down to the SFD location before it all disappears.

The Boutique: On a completely different spectrum, Goodwill Industries has signed a lease for the corner buildings on San Anselmo Avenue and Tamalpais but with a slight twist to the concept of the resale thrift shop.

The San Anselmo store will be more of a boutique setting with higher quality donated items available.  Having never experienced this concept it will be interesting to see what it will be like.  No matter what, it will be great to have one of the many vacant storefronts on San Anselmo Avenue filled.

About Town

I got a really nice email from Town Council member, the other day about a great thing the members are offering to the community.

“Next Saturday, March 10, at SA Town Hall 10am - 12 noon, all residents of San Anselmo are invited to 'put in your 2¢' with ideas for Town priorities. How do we see ourselves and what will we be working on for the next 2-5 years and on into the future?

"The Town Council and our hard-working Staff met and went over goals that we felt were important and now we need the input of San Anselmo's citizens to take it a step further. We're continuing to "put the heart back in San Anselmo" as we ask for your opinion. Won't take long; come tell us your 10 priorities.

"Those who have soccer games and relatives in town and important meetings, you can still give us your input:

—from March 10-26—go to the Town web site: www.townofsananselmo.org and take a survey,

—obtain a paper survey at Town Hall beginning Monday, March 12.

See you there,

Kay”

What would you add to the list?  Will you go to put in your two cents?
