Meet Your Expanded San Anselmo-Fairfax Patch Team

San Anselmo-Fairfax Patch has added a new cadre of editors who are here to cover, connect and serve this community.

You’ve been coming to the San Anselmo-Fairfax Patch since we launched to get unique and quality and local reporting, engaging stories and video and place to connect and converse wit your community. Now there is a bigger team devoted to the San Anselmo – Fairfax Patch.

Local Editors Brent Ainsworth and Cate Lecuyer, as well as Associate Regional Editor Jim Welte will join Jessica Mullins in creating a team of journalists to bring the same caliber of content readers have come to expect on this site.

Here’s a bit about each of them:

  • Brent Ainsworth has been a professional journalist since 1987. He worked in various roles at the Marin Independent Journal for more than 14 years before he departed to launch Novato Patch in August 2010.
  • Jim Welte, who oversees the Patch sites in Marin, launched the Mill Valley Patch and spent two years as the local editor of the site. He has worked for the Marin Independent Journal and has had other stints covering music, business, sports and general assignment.
  • Cate Lecuyer has been an editor with Patch for more than three years and recently transferred to Marin from the Back Bay Patch in Boston. She spent six years working for newspapers across New England.
  • Your editor for the last eight months, Jessica Mullins, is sliding over to head the San Rafael Patch, but you’ll still see her around San Anselmo and Fairfax.
