Rock Posters, Sledding and a Good Ole' Pancake Breakfast
Hit up these events this weekend and let us know what we missed?
Hey, what'cha doing this weekend? Looking for some ideas? Take a look at what's on the San Anselmo-Fairfax events calendar.
--- Start out your weekend with the Art of Moonalice from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Fairfax Pavilion. Moonalice is a band that commissions a rock poster for every gig. Since 2007, more than 400 Moonalice posters have been created and distributed to fans for free at Moonalice shows. See them all.
--- Go sledding Saturday morning! (Yes, actual sledding.) Manor's annual Winter Faire not only raises money for the school, but also introduces Ross Valley students to actual snow from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Manor School.
--- And, learn how to make vinegar-free pickles, sauerkraut and kombucha at The Ferment Event, a five-hour class from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday with Ilah Jarvis N. C. at Gathering Thyme in San Anselmo.
--- Finish off your weekend with some pancakes. The new Drake Fund hosts its 20th annual pancake breakfast Sunday starting at 8 a.m. to raise funds for Sir Francis Drake High School. The "Unity in the Community" event will also feature a coat drive for One Warm Coat.
