Santa, Lights, and Plays This Weekend

Don't forget to check out our holiday guide for more seasonal good-tidings.

This weekend kicks off the holiday season in full force. Check our holiday events guide for all the sightings of Santa.

Start your merry times rolling with the San Anselmo Open House Friday night -- shops throughout downtown are staying open late, offering snacks, wine, cheese (and at least one keg last year), and giving resident the chance to enter fun raffles. Get your gift shopping done early!

Don't forget to see Santa at the San Anselmo Tree Lighting, where Seawood Photo is offering free pictures with the jolly man in red. The tree lighting starts promptly at 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Along with San Domenico's Christmas tableaux on Friday night, this weekend also features the annual, and always popular, Stapleton performance of The Nutcracker both Saturday and Sunday at 1 and 5 p.m.

And if that's not enough performances for you, catch White Hill's performance of the Shakespeare comedy A Midsummer Nights Dream on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Check out more events on our calendar. Don't see your event? Add it for free to our Patch event calendar. Let us know what you're doing this weekend and post pictures of how it goes.
