On Friday, July 6 from 10:00am - 12:00pm, a group of Fairfax children will "MAKE A STAND": selling lemonade across from Good Earth Natural Foods in Fairfax -- to raise money to fight slavery and human exploitation. 100% of profits will go to Not for Sale, a 501(c)(3) organization in Half Moon Bay, whose mission it is to help free the 30 million people enslaved around the world, roughly half of whom are children.
The chldren were asked what project they wanted to do on the Dalai Lama's birthday, and they decided to support Fairfax resident Vivienne Harr's "MAKE A STAND" campaign.
