If you’ve been putting off replacing that old water-wasting toilet or leaky irrigation system, here’s an incentive to help you finally tackle those home improvement tasks. The Marin Municipal Water District is bringing back its popular “Save Your Green, Save Our Blue” program in partnership with 15 local businesses to help customers give their homes and gardens a water-efficient upgrade for less. For a limited time, participating plumbers and retailers are generously offering discount coupons for a variety of water-saving products and services.
MMWD customers can visit marinwater.org to browse and print the coupons that best fit their needs. Among the offers—which are different for each business—customers will find discounts on leak repair, high-efficiency toilets and showerheads, smart irrigation controllers, rainwater harvesting tanks, mulch, native plants and more.
By improving the water efficiency of their homes and gardens, MMWD customers can lower their water bills while supporting local businesses and helping to conserve our precious water supply.
