The St. John's Chancel Choir--now with childcare offered!
If you love to sing, why not consider joining a vibrant choir in a progressive, friendly, growing church? You'll become a better musician, meet new people, and sing great music.
If you're a parent, you'll like the option of taking Thursday evening off from the kids and doing something for yourselves. Dads can drop off the kids in the nursery and give Mom the evening free, or vice versa-or you may want to enjoy some time together as a couple...in song!
The St. John's Chancel Choir of St. John's Episcopal Church in Ross sings a varied repertoire of new and classic works, and enjoys social and extra events throughout the season. We are an SATB choir of 25 voices.
We rehearse Thursday evenings from 7-8.30 (with an alternate mini-rehearsal Wednesday mornings from 11-11.45), and lead the 10 a.m. liturgy on Sunday mornings. We take the second Sunday of each month off when the children's choir sings at liturgy in our stead.
If you can match pitch and love to sing, we'd welcome you to membership in the St. John's Chancel Choir. Interested? Please speak to music director Dr. Lenore Alford at 415-456-1102x111 or email her at lenore@stjohnsross.org.
