Google Glass Lost in Marin: Sign Local Mom's Petition

Colleen Proppé, San Anselmo mother of twin boys, Aidan and Blake Costello, was using a beta-test version of Google Glass when a wave knocked her off balance and the device fell into the ocean at Bolinas Beach, Wednesday, July 24.  Natalie Pepper, Wade Thomas Resource Teacher and owner of Spectrum Surf Camps, tried to help find the device and has continued looking for it at Bolinas Beach.  At first, Glass Support told Proppé they would replace the device only if she was able to turn in the product that sank.  The following Monday, Google Glass Manager, Jen Stone, stated the "Terms of Agreement" as being the reason why Google will not replace the product.  Google Glass Support has told Proppé she may purchase another device for $1500. Proppé wants her beta-test device back, and feels that what happened to her was a part of the testing process, and that Google should replace her device and  come up with a way to make Glass float. Proppé's petition at Change .org is now up to 68 signatures.  You may learn more or sign her petition, here:
