Lea Dutton to lead panel that stresses eco issues

Lea Dutton has been elected chair of San Anselmo’s nine-member Quality of Life Commission, which emphasizes sustainability and environmental projects and issues.

She succeeds Woody Weingarten, who served in that position for six years but recently relinquished it because of family health issues.

In a special election held during October’s regular commission meeting, Sita Khufu was elected vice chair, replacing Quinne Fokes, who has resigned her seat on the panel; and Chantal Maher was voted in as secretary, replacing Dutton.
