The community gathered in downtown San Anselmo for the third annual San Anselmo Country Fair and Parade. The people along the street grew excited as the fire engine marked the start of the parade that kicked off the event.
The "Kids Zone" was set up near the library, where children had the opportunity to enjoy the day at face painting booths and inflatable slides. Local businesses handed out samples of vitamin water and granola.
A woman wore a coat made of trash bags to reinforce the movement to ban plastic shopping bags. The park held a favorable picnic area to enjoy the Johnny Cash revival band, while dining on 's burgers and smoked oysters from a local group. The party lasted well into the afteroon.
