Repaving Snarls Traffic on Sir Francis Drake Blvd, Center Blvd

Road construction in San Anselmo has caused heavy traffic on both Center Blvd. and Sir Francis Drake Blvd today, according to the Central Marin Police Authority.
Crews were planning on repaving part of Sir Francis Drake Blvd. between Redhill Avenue and Spring Grove Avenue from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today. Large trucks were advised to detour down Bridge Street to Center Blvd, according to CMPA Nixle alerts.

On the San Anselmo – Fairfax Patch Facebook page, Stephen Braitman said he took him roughly 45 minutes to get from San Francisco Blvd. (between Drake High School and the Isabel Cook Recreation Center) “through the hub this morning” on Sir Francis Drake Blvd. around 9 a.m.
