San Anselmo residents have gathered more than 100 signatures to encourage town officials to rescind a permit for the nonprofit Cultural Homestay International on Butterfield Road. Town concerns about the nonprofit date back to 1995, according to a report in the Ross Valley Reporter this week. Recently, the nonprofit submitted an application to remove two large palm trees on the site, which neighbors also oppose.
