A Mill Valley man who fell into the Bay on Friday was allegedly trying to throw his wife off of the San Mateo-Hayward Bridge during an argument, prosecutors said.

Wednesday, Dec. 18

Former San Francisco Giants pitcher Barry Zito has taken his sprawling Marin County mansion off the market.  He first listed his Kentfield property for $11.5 million in 2012 but lowered the asking price to $9.8 million earlier this year.

 

Thursday, Dec. 19

San Rafael firefighters made quick work of a Thursday night structure fire in the Canal area. No injuries were reported in a blaze that caused an estimated $100,000 in property damage.

 

Friday, Dec. 20

Two former Drake High football players were arrested for allegedly burglarizing a Mill Valley home. One of the suspects is Nicolo Giacomini, a member of a prominent Marin County family.
