Artists in the Rainforest: Creating the Maya World

Artists in the Rainforest:  Creating the Maya World.   Tuesday October 11.  Noon

Maya artists and master builders created a visual world anchored in Beauty, History and Legend. Maya cultural art remnants still move us with their ceremonial centers and portrayals of war, ritual and belief.

Join the San Anselmo Library Art Talk Tuesday lecture and visual presentation: Artists in the Rainforest:  Creating the Maya World on October 11th at noon, when a docent from the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco uncovers the monumental and intimate renderings of both noble and lowly Maya art.
