Auditions for 42ND STREET

Auditions for the first production of the 2012-2013 season of Marilyn Izdebski's Musical-Theatre Workshops for young people, “42ND STREET,” will be held on Wednesday, August 29th, from 3:30-5:30pm for 8-11 year olds and 5:30-7:30 for 12-17 year olds; and Thursday, August 30th from 3:30-7:30pm for everyone at the Marilyn Izdebski Studio, 100 Shaw Dr., San Anselmo.  Those auditioning are asked to attend both days and to sing any song from the show, such as “Lullaby of Broadway,” “42nd Street” or any up-tempo Broadway show tune with lots and lots of personality!  You also need to wear clothes you can dance in.  There are seventeen principal and supporting roles and a very large singing and dancing chorus. You do not need to know how to tap to be in the show!!
