In the Academy Award nominated ensemble piece "The Help," a young white woman living in the Civil Rights era befriends two African American maids and decides to write a controversial book about the racism they face at work. Free. Donations appreciated. Popcorn, candy and sodas will be sold. Bring blankets, pillows, backrest and low chairs. Film Night suggests leaving pets at home.
