Artist-designer, Jane Richardson-Mack will be showing
Gicle`e prints of her Verre Eglomisè original art work at a wine and cheese opening in Fairfax on Friday June 1 from 6:30 to 8:30pm at Bradley Real Estate's 55 Broadway Office.
Verre Eglomisè is an ancient medium of painting and gilding on the reverse side of glass. There are very few artists working in this medium and Jane Richardson-Mack is pushing the known boundaries in many directions, using layers of glass, her own paintings and photography as well as found images.
The Gicle`e prints being offered stand on their own as collectable art, and offer another view into this rare medium. Jane’s original pieces will be on display as well and are owned by collectors such as Carlos Santana.
Jane has also done mural painting all over the world and is currently in the process of painting a large exterior mural for the Fairfax Theater.
