Kick-off the Holidays with San Domenico's Unique 'Christmas Tableaux'

Every year, San Domenico School opens its doors for a free holiday performance of the school’s cherished Christmas tradition, Tableaux. This live interpretation is the story of Christ, as depicted in the frescos of 15th century Dominican Master and artist Fra Angelico, includes high school student actors as well as the San Domenico Singers who hail each new “tableau” with carols and hymns while a narrator chants the story of the birth of Christ.

Seniors Libby Reyff of San Rafael and Portia Henry-Warren of San Anselmo were selected by their classmates to portray Joseph and Mary in this year's production—a huge honor bestowed upon students judged by their peers to best represent the characteristics and qualities of these two very special figures.

Performances are at 7:30 and 8:15pm. Tableaux is free to the public however reservations are recommended.
