Marin Symphony Youth Orchestra

At 7 pm on December 4th at the Terra Linda High Performing Arts Auditorium, the Marin Symphony Youth Orchestra, undert the direction of Ann Krinitsky, will perform Mars and Jupiter from Gustav Holst’s The Planets, Bedrich Smetana’s My Country and the complete New World Symphony. 

MSYO will also premiere a work by student composer, Robert Allen, who is a junior at Terra Linda High School.  The movement, entitled Haumea, Bringer of New Life, is from Allen’s The Dwarf Planets Suite, which was inspired by Holst’s The Planets.  Admission is $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and $5 for students.
