RoCo Dance Onstage - "ALICE" + RoCo CHILDREN's Performance

The award winning dance studio from Marin County, RoCo, will be presenting it’s biennial ALICE, a modernized youth, urban, dance rendition of the bizarre Lewis Carroll tale, Alice in Wonderland. Shows will be both Friday June 3rd, 8:00pm and Saturday, June 4th at 7:00pm. Both performances will be at the Veteran’s Memorial Auditorium in San Rafael, California.

ALICE will showcase 275 selected dancers from RoCo’s various youth dance training programs. Guest performers include, professional Break dancer, Miles Kenedi, RoCo director, Annie R. Parr and Body Language, RoCo's Modern Dance company. Genres will span everything from Hip Hop to Ballet. Directed by visiting French choreographer, Daisy Stoloff,  ALICE s a one-of-a-kind, colorful and surreal evening length production, filled with humor, physical intensity and drama. The collaboration of dance, video, lights, costume and music project you through a wild dream and journey of self-discovery.

ALICE is a RoCo tradition that only happens once every two years due to the complexity of the production. Advanced ticket purchase is suggested through the Veteran’s Memorial Auditorium’s website. Each evening opens with RoCo Dance Onstage featuring hip hop, modern, jazz, ballet and break dancing choreography by RoCo's acclaimed faculty.
