Why We Come: A Screening and Conversation with Filmmaker Buff Whitman-Bradley

This powerful documentary presents the stories of Latin American migrants living in San Rafael as they describe why they endure the difficult journey to El Norte to seek a better life for their families.  Local filmmaker Buff Whitman-Bradley will be on hand to discuss the film.  A long time activist, Whitman-Bradley is the co-producer and director of the award-winning documentary film Outside In, and co-editor of the recently published book About Face: Military Resisters Turn Against War.  This is a free event.
