Parry, the performance's director and producer, has done several productions for the theater company in the last several years, but this was his first with children. It was challenging, he said, but entirely worthwhile.
We agree.
Several of the 10 children cast as orphans in the play steal the show. The young actors cast are Tristanio Fisher-Coppola, Luci Paczkowski, Edi Paczkowski, Luca M. Ross, Cece Hunt, Betty N. Davidson, Dillan A. Ross, Addicen Bauer, Jaden Krietzman and Dylan Chavez.
Jim Gessner, King Cooper and Sisi Parry-Hansen play pirate captains and members of the captains’ crews include Dean Pioli, Tony Palmer, Anthony Catudio, Stephen Nitz, Ted Furlo, Volker von Glasenapp, Carrie Fisher-Coppola, Leslie Carol and Kim Slater. Also in the performance are Charles, Porter, Luis Chavez and Dean Pioli.
Characters range from pirates to dancing skeletons to stranded British orphans.
The performances are at the on Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. or on Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m.
