Crowdfunding San Anselmo Civic Projects

Funding civic projects just got easier. Crowdfunding will help small towns across the U.S. to improve the quality of life in their communities. Will Marin towns be early adopters?

Bike trails, skate parks, dog parks, trolley lines; they're all being crowdfunded online, NOW. What civic projects could we crowdfund in San Anselmo? How about restoring fish runs to our creek? How about a new community center? How about summer youth plays in our new downtown park? Check it out;

Are you being coy, Bob? I'm a lazy sob that doesn't live in San Anselmo, but I'm guessing there's a proposed brand-new downtown park that could use some funding.

The new downtown park would be a great way for SA to gain experience with crowdfunding civic projects, although the effort would probably not be directed by the town. My hope is that our entire community, including the town council and staff, will get engaged in the funding of important projects.
