Annual Nicasio Barn Dance
On Saturday, May 12, from 6:00 pm to 10:30 pm, the Nicasio School Foundation will be hosting a barn dance celebration to honor the 150th anniversary of the founding of Nicasio School.
The 150th Anniversary Barn Dance will be held at the beautiful Collins Ranch in Nicasio and will feature live music by The Rancho Allstars, local gourmet food, top flight beverages and a Nicasio history presentation. There will also be a silent auction offering vacations, unique dining experiences, local merchant gift certificates, and specialty items. Proceeds from the event will benefit Nicasio School.
The 150th Anniversary Barn Dance will cap off a festive day of celebration in Nicasio where the Nicasio Historical Society will earlier present a vintage parade, tours of town square buildings, early California culture and dramatic presentations of notable Nicasians. These activities will take place from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm on the Nicasio town square.

Tickets for the 150th Anniversary Barn Dance are $50 (and include a country dinner) and can be purchased at www.nicasioSF.org or by calling (415) 662-1048. The Collins Ranch is located at 2681 Nicasio Valley Road in Nicasio.
