The American Legion Post 179 is hosting its annual Memorial Day Celebration at the Log Cabin. There will be a free bbq and live music plus all vets get their first drink free with military ID. The Women's Auxiliary will also be hosting a bake sale to raise money to send care packages to troops overseas. The Dugout Bar will be open to the public all day -- the bar is for adults 21 and over, but kids are welcome in the hall and outside.
The party starts at 1PM with Ken Sites Jazz Trio followed at 4PM by Cathey Cotten and Elliott's Evil Plan, the Bay Area's Blues Band that Rocks with a Funky Soul.
