"Mary Sylla and Frank Egger are extremely well informed on the issues affecting the Ross Valley Sanitary District," read the Chamber's statement, "and both pledge to protect the ratepayers and improve the cooperation between the sanitary districts."

Announced at the same time, through their president and CEO Connie Rogers,  the Chamber of Commerce endorsed Supervisor Katie Rice in her election bid for District 2 Supervisor. She was appointed to the seat in October, 2011.

The statement applauds Rice for fiscal responsibility, recognizing the county's pension problems,  and her efforts in mitigating flood control in Ross Valley, "streamlining the processes for economic sustainability and growth. "

"Supervisor Katie Rice eliminates the learning curve due to her long-time position as a top advisor to Supervisor Hal Brown and will continue the vision and mission of the highly respected Supervisor Hal Brown," the statement concluded.
