See the New Good Earth Before it Opens

Take a video tour of the store, which opens on Wednesday.

After much work, the will open this Wednesday, Feb. 15 at 11 a.m. after a ribbon-cutting at 10:30 a.m.

The current , on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard, will be closed on Tuesday while operations are moved to the new location. The new store then opens at 11 a.m. on Wednesday. Regular hours will resume at the new store on Thursday.

The new store features an expanded prepared foods section, with pizza, burritos, sandwiches, rotisserie chicken, and a Wok section. The cafe and bakery also has fresh bread, pastries, smoothies, juices, coffee, and organic ice cream. With the expansion, Good Earth expanded its standard bulk food and prepared section, but is also moving more extensively into meat, fish, and cheese offerings.

In about two months, co-owner Al Baylacq said, the store will also have a Good Earth Organic Beer brewed specially by across the street.
