Economic Development Survey

Find out what's happening in San Anselmo-Fairfaxwith free, real-time updates from Patch.

The Town’s Economic Development Committee is seeking community input regarding what residents feel makes our town a great place to live, shop and enjoy. Your input will help the Committee make recommendations to the Town Council about policies related to local economic development, our micro economy and supporting and strengthening the businesses communities within our town.

In addition to providing us with your opinion, we hope that you will encourage your family and friends to participate in this process. We have created an easy link, www.SanAnselmoShopLocal.com, that will direct users to this survey.

Last year the Committee created a survey specifically designed for San Anselmo business owners. This business survey is still open for input from business owners and can be found at www.SABusinessSurvey2013.com.

The Committee thanks you for taking the time to complete this survey.

Spring Baseball for 6-7 Year Olds

A brand new spring instructional baseball league for Rookie Baseball is starting.  The League will incorporate playing on a smaller playing field, meaning more action on the field for all of the players.  No scores or standings will be kept, and the purpose of the league is instructional and fun.  This is an introductory league before they enter the San Anselmo Baseball Association (SABA).

Teams will be formed with consideration of school placement and grade.  Practices will start the week of February 10th.  Before games begin there will be two practices a week, one during the week and one on Saturday.  Practice times will be at 4 or 5:30 p.m.  Location will be either Brookside Lower or Wade Thomas.  Once the games begin there will only be one weeknight practice.

Games will take place on Saturdays at either 9 or 10:30 a.m. at Memorial Park.  They will begin on March 15th and run until April 26th.  Every player will get a jersey.

If you are interested in either coaching and/or sponsoring a team, please call 258-4680 or email gmihan@townofsananselmo.org to express your interest.  Please specify which age group it is that you are interested in coaching or sponsoring.

The deadline to register is Thursday, January 9th!
