EADWEARD MUYBRIDGE IN A TIME OF CHANGE

Why Go: Yes, it’s a trip over the bridge, but it's so worth it. This wonderful exhibit is the first ever retrospective of Muybridge’s pioneering photography. You’ll want to see this show more than once, so why not go now?

RARE, SPECIAL BOOKS & CHARMING OLDIES
Where/When: San Rafael Library Meeting Room, 1100 E. Street, San Rafael; Saturday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Why Go: Pre-1950 books. There’s bound (pun intended) to be some real treasures here; so go forth, peruse and collect.

33RD ANNUAL BARREL TASTING
Where/When: Various Wine Road member wineries in the Alexander, Dry Creek and Russian River Valleys, Northern Sonoma County; Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Why Go: Here’s your chance to taste wines that are still in the barrel and talk to the winemakers. Over 100 wineries participate.
Pricing: $30 per person, $5 designated drivers (includes no wine tasting)
