Pipeline Repairs Cause Scenic Avenue Closure
Portion of road closed as MMWD fixes pipes, should reopen Friday.
Thursday Afternoon Update: Scenic Drive between Canyon Road and Summit Avenue in San Anselmo is expected to remain closed through Friday, Cpl. Julie Gorwood said today.
A minor landslide that occurred on the road last week has been cleared, but pipeline repairs are still underway, Gorwood said.
Marin Municipal Water District spokeswoman Libby Pischel said a water pipe junction that serves a residence in the area is being relocated.

The road was closed Wednesday afternoon, Gorwood said. Residents are advised to take alternate routes and expect delays.
