Readers' Choice: The Sleeping Lady

The readers have spoken and by the narrowest of margins, the Sleeping Lady in Fairfax is voted the best place to celebrate St. Paddy's Day.

It was oh, so close — separated by only one vote — the edged out for the Readers' Choice honor of Best Place to Celebrate St. Patrick's Day in San Anselmo & Fairfax.

We'll go with the "you can't complain if you didn't vote" rule on this one.

But it will all be good on St. Patrick's Day with plenty of options — and who says you can't or shouldn't go to both spots and the — to support your local businesses and in the name of community spirit.

Now that's what I call selfless partying.

I certainly had a very good time, they certainly got me Irish feet a stepin'! Thanks again for the calendar/cd Accordion Babes! http://www.taralinda.com/accordionbabescalendar.html http://accordionbabes.wordpress.com/ ...and I totally forgot it was St. Paddy's Day and did not have a lick of green on, funny, no one pinched me, though....sigh....maybe that isn't politically correct anymore? Renee, you were awesome, I should have thought to get you to sign the calendar, but when I start dancing I get in an altered state and forget about such mundane things. http://www.squeezeboxgoddess.com/ What an interesting night of dancing....considering the Black Sabbath tribute band playing next door, but Renee and friends stirred me Irish ancestors out of the chair and on to the floor for a much needed spin about place. Anyone else remember the original SLC, where I danced many a jig as a wee lad....? Cheers, y'all !

Thanks John for the St. Paddy's report from the Sleeping Lady? Anybody else? Who went to Fairfax Brewfest or Iron Springs?
