San Anselmo Police: Multiple public intoxication arrests, money stolen from residence

Friday, Aug. 6

Warrant Arrest: The San Rafael Police Department reported that they received a report of an elderly male walking on Fourth Street at 12:22 a.m. They determined he has an outstanding warrant and was arrested and booked in the county jail.

Public Intoxication: There was an anonymous report of loud music coming from a car at Raymond Avenue and Tamalpais Avenue at 1:25 a.m. An officer responded and determined that the subject had an outstanding warrant. He was arrested and booked in the county jail.

Public Intoxication: A resident reported that her husband had been drinking and may have the keys to her car at 8:01 a.m. Officers checked the area, but were unable to locate the man. The resident was provided with information on obtaining a restraining order.

Fraud: A customer left a business on San Anselmo Avenue at 9:08 a.m. without paying for the services.

Suspicious Circumstances: A vagrant subject was seen coming out of a storage area he had broken into on Ross Avenue at 1:27 p.m. He also attempted to steal a bicycle.

Unwanted Subject: A subject was refusing to leave a business on Center Boulevard at 6:40 p.m. Officers responded and he was abated.

Thursday, Aug. 5

Noise: There was a loud party on Magnolia Avenue at 3:23 a.m.

Suspicious Circumstances: A dog was barking on Scenic Avenue at 3:36 a.m. and a resident thought someone might be outside the residence.

Suspicious Vehicle: A vehicle had left a parking lot on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and appeared suspicious at 10:03 a.m. Officers checked the vehicle and determined it was ok.

Grand Theft: Cash was stolen from a residence on Butterfield Avenue at 1:34 p.m.

Suspicious Circumstances: There was a disturbance on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 4:18 p.m.

Reckless Driving: There was a reckless driver on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at 5:01 p.m.

Suspicious Person: There was a suspicious person on Woodland Avenue at 5:14 p.m.
