Windy Weather Leaves Some Without Power in Ross Valley

Gusts reached nearly 60 miles per hour last night in Woodacre. There are 66 Pacific Gas & Electric customers without power in Fairfax; no estimate yet as to when power will be restored.

 

Residents thoughout Marin are without power this morning following strong overnight winds that caused outages across the Bay Area.

PG&E's outage map is reporting five outages in Fairfax that have left 66 customers in the dark. There are also 14 customers without power in Ross and eight customers out in Lagunitas- Forest Knolls.

Pacific Gas & Electric reports there were 11 outages in Mill Valley, impacting 138 customers, that occured at 12:04 a.m. Monday. There were also four outages in Tam Valley at 8:26 a.m. affecting 61 customers. The outages are awaiting assessment, and there's no estimate at this time as to when power will be restored.

In West Marin, Inverness has 270 PG&E customers without power and Bolinas has 4 outages impacting 119 customers. 

Peak gusts reached nearly 60 miles per hour in Marin, and 75 miles per hour in San Francisco, according to the National Weather Service.
