Community Corner

Asm. Marc Levine to Hold Office Hours at San Geronimo Valley Community Center

Dear Friends,

Do you have questions, concerns, or suggestions about your state government?
Do you need help with a state agency? Do you have a great idea that you believe
should be a bill?

As your Assemblymember, I deeply value input from community members and
believe it's important that I make myself available to hear your concerns. I
also realize that many people have very busy schedules and may have difficulty
reaching me during regular business hours at my district and Capitol offices.

For that reason, I am holding occasional Saturday office hours at various
locations throughout Marin and Sonoma counties. I will be available to discuss
issues and encourage all members of the community to drop by. No appointment is
necessary.

In addition to my staff and me, a representative from Marin Health &
Human Services will be on hand to answer questions specific to Covered
California and ongoing programs such as Medi-Cal. I have received many inquiries
regarding implementation of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and about enrolling in
health insurance. It is important to address those questions as the open
enrollment deadline of March 31st is quickly approaching.
