Habitat Restoration: Invasive Species Removal from Bon Tempe Lakeshore Saturday, February 15, 2014, 9 AM to Noon

Volunteers
will focus on removing Douglas-fir seedlings and French broom from this
valuable and beautiful habitat. Meeting location is the “Redwood Turn” pullout/bathroom
on Sky Oaks Rd. one mile past Sky Oaks Headquarters at 9am.

Trail crew
events are suitable for ages 13 and older.



Age 8 or up
can volunteer at habitat restoration events.

Volunteers under the age of 18 must have a permission form signed by a
parent or guardian.



Volunteers under the age of 16 must have a parent present at the event.

Please wear close-toed shoes and long pants, dress for variable weather
and bring a reusable water bottle. We provide breakfast snacks, water, tools
and inspiration. Rain
cancellation and fire closure information can be found by calling after 7:30
a.m. on the day of the event.
