Handel / Italian Journey

Marin Baroque Chamber Choir and period instrument Orchestra
will present Handel/Italian
Journey, the first concert of
our exciting 2013-2014 season, on November 16, 2013 at 8:00 p.m. at First
Presbyterian Church San Anselmo.  The
repertoire includes the glorious Dixit
Dominus and other works written by Georg Frideric Handel as a young man
while touring Italy from 1706-1710, and a concerto by Arcangelo Corelli, a very
highly esteemed Baroque composer and violinist whom Handel visited during his
Italian tour.  You will be guided through
the concert by a storyteller who will provide vignettes of life in Italy for
Handel and others at that time.  Tickets
