Womanist Reflections: Remembering Fannie Lou Hamer

Join San Francisco Theological Seminary for a day-long celebration of Fannie Lou Hammer's activism for racial and gender equality. Hamer was a courageous civil rights leader and community organizer who demonstrated a commitment to faith and community at a grassroots level.

Enjoy morning and afternoon worship, engaging lectures by scholars, including two esteemed SFTS faculty members - Rev. Laurie Garrett-Cobina and Rev. Vanessa Hawkins - and afternoon workshops, on the SFTS campus.

This event is free and lunch will be provided. To ensure that we have enough food for everyone, please register at tinyurl.com/SFTSWomanist.
