American Legion Auxiliary San Anselmo Unit 179 will be collecting donated food and toiletry items for care packages for the military serving in combat zones. Members will provide shoppers with a list of requested items before they start their shopping. In addition, shoppers can make a $20 donation and a “Hugs from Home” bag filled with snacks or toiletries will be shipped to a member of the military (the shoppers can also write a personal greeting to be sent with the bag). American Legion Auxiliary San Anselmo Unit 179 would appreciate your assistance in sending care packages to the men and women who are risking their lives in service to our country.
