Today, celebrate Valentine's Day in a powerful and positive way by taking part in ONE BILLIION RISING, a worldwide movement to end the violence against women.  According to Sustainable Fairfax board member Renee Goddard, "this is the biggest gathering in history for social/gender justice."

The aim of these events is not only to show solidarity with the women who have experienced these atrocities, but also to make a seismic shift in attitudes about these human rights abuses through positive energy, DANCE and a spirited "RISING UP."
