Drake Thinks Pink...& More!

Don't forget: The Board of Trustees meeting on Wednesday, October 24, will be held in the Student Center at Drake.  The meeting will start at 7:00 p.m., and the agenda will feature a number of Drake-related topics, including discussions about the garden and first day of school activities.  We hope you will join us at this meeting. 

In other Drake news:

On Friday, October 19, the Sir Francis Drake High School students, staff, and parents came together in support of "Breast Cancer Awareness Day," which was sponsored by the Leadership class.  Many students and staff wore pink to symbolize their support, each advisory class contributed a quilting square which the Leadership class combined to create an "Awareness" quilt to be displayed at school, and the parents made an amazing variety of pink goodies for the cake walk that was held at lunch time.  Please see the attached photos.
