This is not your average music class. Little Folkies masterfully delight children and adults alike with their Guthrie-inspired family favorites. We absolutely love going to music class as a family, and our 4-year-old and our 2-year-old are equally entranced-- in class and out. On pretty much a daily basis, we get requests for 'Rocketship', 'Froggy' or 'Momma'. As a parent, I love that our kids get exposure to real music and musicians, and an education in American folk music without really even knowing it.

Next week marks the beginning of our first ever 6 week Spring semester of Little Folkies classes in Marin.
Our Spring semester will feature an exciting batch of new Little Folkies originals especially for the Spring, along with several recurring Little Folkies favorites. These will be seasoned with some hand-picked folk traditionals to widen the scope of our repertoire offering. The songs will be lead this semester by Little Folkies lovely Katelyn Sullivan. Katelyn is a charming and talented musician with a great voice and a long time SF resident, active on the Bay Area music scene in addition to her teaching with Little Folkies.
