San Anselmo-Fairfax Death Notices

Miguel Anchordoqui was born in Erratzu, a town in the Navarra province of Spain on Nov. 19, 1942. He served in the Spanish army before moving to California when he was 25 to become a sheepherder in San Benito County. He moved to Marin County in 1971 and started a gardening business. He married Rosa Veloz in 1974.  He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Rosario, daughter Maribel, sons Jose Miguel, Antonio Estrella (Rosario), Rafael Estrella (Irma), Sergio Luis Estrella. Anchordoqui died at his home in the Brett Harte neighborhood. He was 71.

Sunny Charla Bell was born in born in Steubenville, Ohio, on November 20, 1949. Her lifelong passion for music began when she was practically a toddler. She was singing at gatherings with her grandparents when she was 3. She performed her whole life and went on to become a published poet, short story and feature writer.  Bell opened a photography studio in San Rafael before working for the California State Parks as a videographer/producer/ photographer. Bell is survived by her domestic partner June Dancingtree; her siblings Timothy, Sally, Suzanne, and Elizabeth; her step children Wendy, Christopher, and Michael, step grandchildren and numerous friends. Bell died on Dec. 5. She was 64.

Beatrice Levinson Bozof was born Memphis and raised in Mississippi. She returned to Memphis where she spent most of her life as a respected realtor. She was active in the Jewish community, serving as Hadassah’s Southern Region President. Bozof moved to Greenbrae nine years ago. She became a member of the Rodef Shalom synagogue in San Rafael. Bozof was 90.
