Who Delivers Lunch in Napa?

A Patch reader asks: How can a deskbound Napa worker get lunch delivered? If you have answers, please share them in the comments.

Mailbag time:

"I would love Patch to ask, Who delivers lunch in Napa?" writes a reader who's evidently stuck behind a desk and getting hungry.

"What do officebound workers do? Who delivers and who is a good value? It's a drama for us everyday," the note continues.

Do you have an answer for this hardworking Napan? (And no, "take a break and walk to lunch" is not the kind of answer he or she is looking for.)

If you know of Napa eateries that offer lunch delivery, please share the information in our comments section below and help to quell the grumbling stomachs.

Food Mill has an amazing cream of mushroom soup, cream of broccoli, and two sandwiches I love! The Portobello mushroom on focaccia and the grilled veggies on focaccia are two sandwiches to try.

Joy Luck is also another great lunch option! I love their Hot and Sour soup, broccoli beef, chow mein, and pot stickers. Plus delivery is always quick and friendly. Tip if possible ask for take out menu's each time you go out for food, and put them in a binder at work, categorize by type of food or by delivery. That even if people decide to go out for lunch, people can decide what they want before you get there saving more time to eat and chat.

A bag lunch is always a good idea.

Ok so I'm not staying focused on the topic here. Beat me up. Eating out once in awhile is ok, but these restaurants do not have your health in mind. Most eat out/delivered foods are filled with fat, processed carbs, and omega 6 inflammatory oils. Do this to your body often enough and you will pay the price later in life. At least with a bag lunch you have a tangible idea of what you're putting into your body.
