3 San Rafael Burglary Suspects Arrested in Novato, Report says

Authorities say the suspects broke into the home by smashing out a rear window.

Authorities on Saturday arrested three men in Novato on suspicion of burglarizing a home in unincorporated San Rafael, the Marin Independent Journal reports.

The alleged incident occurred in Santa Venetia at about 10:30 a.m., the Marin County Sheriff's Office told the IJ.

The suspects were arrested in Novato about an hour later, the report said.

The suspects were identified in the report as Julius Mack, 26, of San Francisco,  Derrell Compton, 23, of Fairfield and 22-year-old Tyree Wallace of Marin City.

Mack was arrested on suspicion of burglary, and the other two suspects on suspicion of burglary and conspiracy, the report said.

All three suspects were booked into Marin County jail according to the report.

Marin County sheriff's deputies responded to a report of a burglary in progress at about 10:30 a.m., the report said.

The suspects, who authorities say smashed through a rear window to get into the home, were spotted by a tipster who saw three men and a woman running away from the home to a dark gray Range Rover with dealer plates, the report said.

Police officers in Novato pulled over the vehicle at about 11:30 a.m. the report said.

The female suspect has not yet been identified according to the report.
