Little League Noise Complaints and a Stolen Phone from White Hill School

The Fairfax Police blotter for May 16-21 includes a report of juveniles "throwing things" and jumping off buildings.

Tuesday, May 21

Assist outside agency: 7:22 a.m. Good Earth Natural Foods, Center Blvd. Officers are out with ICE agents assisting with an ATL employee at listed business for deportation. 

Suspicious vehicle: 1:29 p.m. Bothin Road. Report of a yellow van occupied by one. 

Theft: 4:58 p.m. White Hill School on Glen Drive. Cell phone stolen from school. RP and a friend are tracking it. 

Monday, May 20

Hazard: 9:29 a.m. Care Meridian on Sir Francis Drake Blvd. Report of a water leak since Friday, May 17. Two kids on bikes slipped on it earlier this morning. 

Vandalism: 10:54 a.m. Crystal Moon on Sir Francis Drake Blvd. Broken window behind vacant business. 

Juvenile problem: 6:34 p.m. Fairfax Library on Sir Francis Drake Blvd. Two juveniles, ages 10-12, wearing shorts and baseball hats, are skateboarding around the building and “flipping” the boards. They were asked to stop by library personnel, but refused. 

Sunday, May 19

Unwanted subject: 3:45 a.m. Post Office on Center Blvd. Walk-n report of a subject sleeping inside the Post Office. 

Noise complaint: 11:25 a.m. Rudy Contratti Field on Bank Street. Report of excessively loud audio speaker and music during the little league game. Disposition: unfounded. 

Noise complaint: 12:55 p.m. Rudy Contratti Field on Bank Street. RP complained about the noise at the central ball field during little league games. Disposition: unfounded.

Suspicious person: 7:08 p.m. Peri Park on Park Road. Report of a subject who came out of the bushes and stumbled toward the bathroom. 

Open container: 11:18 p.m. Napa Avenue and Dominga Avenue. A subject was cited for possession of an open container. 

Saturday, May 18

Suspicious person: 3:24 a.m. Fairfax Police Department on Bolinas Road. Subject was arrested and booked into Marin County Jail on suspicion of public intoxication. 

Noise complaint: 11:40 a.m. Rudy Contratti Field on Bank Street. RP asks that the police ask the baseball game organizer to turn down the speaker system. Disposition: unfounded. 

Found property: 2:19 p.m. Bolinas Road and Park Road. Juvenile brought in a gas canister that fell off a pickup truck. 

Missing person: 6:59 p.m. Fairfax Theatre on Broadway. Elderly mother left the theater before the movie was done. RP and sister were unable to find her. While an officer checked the area, it was determined that the mother had made it safely home. 

Friday, May 17

Assist: 9:03 a.m. Forrest Terrace. RP said there is motor oil pouring down the driveway into the gutter from a residence. 

Animal complaint: 11:34 a.m. Fairfax Theatre on Broadway. Report of a dead deer behind the theater. 

Thursday, May 16

Juvenile problem: 8:11 p.m. White Hill School on Glen Drive. Report of a group of juveniles throwing things and jumping off of buildings.
