Driving Under the Influence: 02:00 Officer initiated activity at Pastori Av/Belle Av, Fairfax. Subject arrested for driving under the influence. He was cited and released to a sober and responsible adult.

Miscellaneous Service: 07:47 Occurred on Tamalpais Rd, Fairfax. Resident smoking meat since yesterday. Smoke billowing around neighborhood. Response cancelled as the smoke dissipated.

Animal Complaint/Problem Misc: 10:17 Occurred on Center Bl, Fairfax. A dog in a car with windows very lightly cracked. Dog appears to be in distress.

Trespassing: 10:27 Occurred at Marin Town And Country Club on Pastori Av., Fairfax. A couple walking their dogs on the premises. RP told them they were trespassing and cannot walk their dogs. Towards the back of the property.

Fraud - ID Theft / Checks: 10:41 Occurred on Westbrae Dr, Fairfax. RP received a call from a male claiming he was her grandson and asking her to wire him money. RP has a phone number for the subject and would like advice on how to proceed.

Animal Complaint/Problem Misc: 10:46 Officer initiated activity at Center Bl, Fairfax. Dog locked in a hot car. Marin Humane Society was advised, responded and removed the dog from the vehicle.

Town Code Violation: 19:57 Occurred on Canyon Rd, Fairfax. RP brought in a plastic bag with rocks and a business card inside, which was thrown onto his property, and asked that the responsible business be contacted and warned regarding their violation of Town Codes. Disposition: Verbal Warning.

Driving w/out license: 21:51 Officer initiated activity at Center Blvd, Fairfax. Subject cited for driving without a valid license. Disposition:

Disturbance: 23:52 Occurred on Park Rd, Fairfax. RP reported a dry ice bomb (in a bottle) was thrown onto her front yard. Disposition: Report Taken.

 

Sunday, June 30

Abandoned Vehicle: 11:42 Occurred on Canyon Rd, Fairfax. RP stated that this vehicle has been parked for over 2 weeks without moving. Disposition: Service Provided.

Welfare Check: 14:11 Occurred at Sherwood Oaks Apartments on Bolinas Rd., Fairfax. RP stated that the neighbor has been screaming at her child, non-stop, for the entire weekend.

Restraining Order Violation: 17:58 Occurred on Piper Ct, Fairfax. RP advised her ex-husband just violated a court order during while dealing with their children outside her house. Disposition: Report Taken.

Suspicious Circumstances: 18:28 Occurred on Manor Rd, Fairfax. RP, who is out of town, advised his neighbor sent him a text that said two people had just gone into his house. Disposition: Log Entry Only.

 

Monday, July 1

Sleeper: 07:14 Occurred on Bolinas Rd, Fairfax. Report of a subject sleeping in a van. Response card left advising of vehicle habitation town code. Disposition: Responsibles advised of complaint.

Sleeper: 09:12 Occurred at Lansdale Av/Baywood Ct, Fairfax. Report of two subjects sleeping in a van. An officer responded and determined that the subject was repairing a mechanical problem with the vehicle. Disposition: Responsibles advised of complaint.

Animal Complaint/Problem Misc: 12:02 Occurred at Rino Gas on Sir Francis Drake Bl., Fairfax. Found dog. Referred to Marin Humane Society. Disposition: Handled by Phone.

Hazard: 13:41 Occurred at Post Office (Fairfax) on Center Bl. , Fairfax. A large tree was removed leaving a large hole exposed. Disposition: Handled by Phone.

Vehicle Accident - Non Injury: 18:26 Occurred on Piper Ln, Fairfax. CHP officer took a traffic collision courtesy report for Fairfax PD. Disposition: Report Taken.

Wire Down: 19:40 Occurred at Bolinas Rd 235 Apartments on Bolinas Rd., Fairfax. Transformer blew. Fire and police responded and remained on scene until PG&E arrived. Disposition: Outside Assist

 

Tuesday, July 2

Noise Complaint: 01:40 Occurred on Dominga Av, Fairfax. Report of someone hammering for past 5 minutes. Possibly related to PG&E working on a blown transformer in the area. Disposition: questioned upon officer’s arrival.

Suspicious Circumstances: 14:13 Occurred at Kingdom Hall on Sir Francis Drake Bl., Fairfax. Report of a man with a can of spraypaint. Area checked, GOA (gone on officer’s arrival)/UTL (unable to located).

Disturbance: 15:02 Occurred at Shady Brook Apartments on Merwin Av. , Fairfax. Disturbance between neighbors. Officers responded and both parties declined further action. Disposition: Service Provided.

Found Property: 18:33 Occurred at Peri Park on Park Rd., Fairfax. Invisalign braces. Disposition: Report Taken.

Found Property: 08:59 Occurred at Broadway/Bolinas Rd, Fairfax. RP found a key. Disposition: Report Taken.

Theft: 10:46 Occurred at Shady Brook Apartments on Merwin Av. , Fairfax. RP had jewelry stolen from her home. Disposition: Advice Given.

Wire Down: 14:08 Occurred on Cascade Dr, Fairfax. A truck just hit a tree IFO house. Live power lines. Disposition: Service Provided.

Unwanted Subject: 15:03 Occurred at Post Office (Fairfax) on Center Bl. , Fairfax. Subject soliciting people for money, advised of complaint and abated. Disposition: Service Provided.

Noise Complaint: 18:25 Occurred on Spring Ln, Fairfax. Anonymous report of a vehicle with modified muffler. Disposition: Advice Given.

Fireworks: 19:28 Occurred on Meernaa Av, Fairfax. Can hear lots of fireworks from up on the hillside and is concerned about fire.

Suspicious Person: 23:56 Occurred on Inyo Av, Fairfax. Report of a male subject pacing on the street talking on a cell phone. Disposition: Service Provided.

 

Thursday, July 4

Disturbance: 00:06 Occurred at Naves Bar & Grill on Bolinas Rd. , Fairfax. Anonymous report to MCSO of an intoxicated subject in the area. Disposition: GOA/UTL.

Assault: 06:36 Occurred on Park Rd, Fairfax. Subject arrested for battery and for being in violation of his probation terms. Disposition: Arrest Made.

Assist Outside Agency: 09:19 Occurred at Marin Rd/Bothin Rd, Fairfax. CMPA (Central Marin Police Authority) requests we BOL (be on lookout) for a baby blue colored Jeep that drove away from a gas station without paying. Disposition: Outside Assist.

Barking Dog: 23:50 Occurred on Dominga Av, Fairfax. RP can hear two dogs barking. She thinks they are somewhere in the area of Dominga and Bolinas, possibly between Sherman and Creek. Disposition: QOA.
