A Fleeing Prowler, Graffiti at St. Rita's and a Mother-Daughter Disturbance

The Fairfax Police blotter for April 23-30 includes a residential burglary , veiled threats and a "disheveled female on a bicycle crying."

 

April 30

Burglary: 4:51 a.m. Olema Road. RP reports her residence was burglarized. Disposition: extra patrol requested.

Threats: 11:28 p.m. Downtown on Bolinas Road and Broadway. RP was downtown tonight and was confronted by a former tenant over some landlord/tenant issues and received veiled threats from him. He would like some advice.

April 29

Disturbance: Frustuck Avenue. Report of two males yelling at each other. Possibly threatening each other.

Suspicious circumstances: 2:18 p.m. Marinda Drive and Sir Francis Drake Blvd. Someone left a backpack in the middle of the street by St. Rita’s.

Town code violation: 8:36 p.m. Cascade Drive. Report of a subject living out of a camper in the area.

 

April 28 

Traffic complaint: 11:30 a.m. Sir Francis Drake Blvd. and Broadway. RP requested extra patrol for bicyclists heading toward Tamarancho that are not yielding for traffic signals and stop signs.

Town code violation: 3:49 p.m. Pavilion on Bolinas Road. RP said there are three men drinking alcohol in public.

Noise complaint: Olema Road. Anonymous report of a loud music somewhere in the area.

 

April 27

Welfare check: 9:38 a.m. Willow Avenue and Sir Francis Drake Blvd. Report of a disheveled female on a bicycle crying.

Disturbance: 11:30 a.m. Sir Francis Drake Blvd. Report of a vehicle, occupied by two subjects, involved in an altercation with a third subject. The subjects were gone upon the officers’ arrival.

Citizen assist: 8:39 p.m. Fairfax Police Department on Bolinas Road. Resident of Berkeley received a harassing e-mail from a Fairfax resident. Officer determined there was no merit to the complaint.

 

April 26

Domestic violence: 2:18 p.m. Broadway. Subject was arrested and booked into Marin County Jail for domestic violence.

Public intoxication: 12:35 p.m. Sir Francis Drake Blvd. Subject arrested and booked to Marin County Jail for public intoxication. Disposition: arrest made.

Theft: 4:25 p.m. Broadway. A report was taken for the theft of a bicycle.

 

April 25

Theft: 12:32 a.m. Willow Apartments. A subject was arrested on suspicion of theft.

Alarm: 6:25 a.m. Iron Springs Pub and Brewery on Center Blvd. A report was taken for an attempted burglary.

Disturbance: Willow Avenue. 4:52 p.m. Numerous reports of a verbal altercation.

Barking dog: Rocca Drive. 11:08 p.m. Dog barking for 10 minutes. Ongoing issue.

 

April 24

Unwanted subject: 9:12 a.m. Coffee Roastery on Bolinas Road. Report of a man yelling at people as they walk by and playing his music loudly.

Vandalism: 3:27 p.m. St. Rita’s School on Marinda Drive. RP reporting graffiti to the church.

Noise complaints: 3:53 p.m. Chester Avenue. Residents at the listed location honk to signal to each other when they’re coming home. RP finds this disturbing to her peace. In addition, the RP feels they may be doing it out of spite because the RP has complained in the past.

Assist: 6:47 p.m. Center Blvd. and San Anselmo Avenue. Be on the lookout for a 6-year-old.

Disturbance: 7:48 p.m. Bennett House on Taylor Drive. Mother/daughter disturbance. Disposition: service provided.

 

April 23 

Prowler: 10:29 p.m. Taylor Drive. Subject just came into the residence then fled.
